Alexa Journey Thinking is a state-of-the-art digital learning tool cum virtual coach, that helps DBS employees to be trained in the methodology of Journey design thinking. Staff are trained to think innovatively using our 4D framework – putting oneself in the shoes of the customer to Discover and Define the customer’s problem, then challenging oneself to Develop a solution that can prospectively be Deployed.
In today’s digital transformation era, our employees no longer need to spend time navigating materials online or consult books, which can be tedious and time-consuming. With Alexa Journey Thinking, our employees can learn on-the-go with fun bite-size learning modules. Alexa Journey Thinking also incorporates gamification to make learning fun and interactive, where employees can test their knowledge via curated games and quizzes.
We have rolled out Alexa Journey Thinking in Singapore, Hong Kong, India and China. More than 200 employees have used the tool to learn and equip themselves with skills to be future-ready.
The average employee satisfaction score is 4.7/5.0, and the adoption rate hit 100% during the pilot phase. Based on the pilot launch, using the tool for training has helped employees save more than 2,000 man-hours annually, and this figure is expected to increase further after the tool is launched in all 6 of our markets.
