The fifth annual Efma-Accenture Innovation in Insurance Awards will be revealed at a virtual awards ceremony on June 17th. The Efma-Accenture Innovation in Insurance program is a joint initiative that aims to reward the most innovative distribution and marketing projects developed by insurance companies across five continents. Efma members and non-members from financial institutions have until May 29th to vote for the winners of this year’s edition.

“Just as insurers are creating ecosystems for their customers and products, we have our own unique ecosystem that provides a great opportunity for these companies to showcase their innovations,” said Hannah Moisand, Efma’s Head of Strategic Partnerships and project leader for the awards initiative.

"Across the globe, insurers are continuing to digitize processes from underwriting to claims management. A major theme we see is insurers becoming more deeply integrated in their customers’ lives, offering new products and experiences that allow them to become true partners and not just an outlet when something goes wrong," said Boris Plantier, Efma’s Strategic Content Manager.

An expert panel has selected nominees for awards in six different categories. Both Efma members and non-members can vote for the winners in each of the seven categories by visiting www.efma.com/innovationininsurance/nominees/ and selecting their top three innovations per category.
