About
We bring a new perspective to RPA tool which is thought be used only for operation. We started to use it for sales & marketing. In this specific RPA project, our robots are generating traffic and motor insurance proposals for suitable customers and sent these time limited proposals to branches in order them to sell those customers.
Innovation presentation
We pioneered the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as early as 2016, starting at the core of our Operations Center before gradually expanding RPA into branch and headquarter functions.
RPA technology is valuable because it helps our bank to eliminate repetitive tasks so that our employees can do more value added jobs. It is also significant because we can develop processes which results in customer satisfaction and loyalty. When the pandemic started in 2020, it became more important than ever. Robots are positioned as assistants to our employees and they save the day. Since then, the development cycle speed up, making the time that processes could be automated shorter and reducing the costs of doing so. And after 2021, we started to use RPA not only for operation but also for sales opportunities.
Although there are many projects developed in RPA, creating sales opportunities with RPA is one of our most prominent projects that was developed in 2021.
Our branches can sell insurance policies and our bank receives insurance premium with these sales. This RPA project is designed to generate traffic and motor insurance proposals for suitable customers and send these time limited proposals to branches in order them to sell those customers.
Before this project, there is no proactive generating insurance proposal mechanism and our branches sell insurance policies when a customer comes and ask for that.
Uniqueness of the project
First, our branches become proactive in reaching and selling insurance policies to potential customers with pre-generated proposals.
Second, this is the first RPA project that we developed with KAFKA tool which is used for big data integration. In this way, we sent these proposals through KAFKA to our branches.
Third, we bring a new perspective to RPA tool which is used only for operation beforehand. We are planning to use RPA mostly for marketing & sales in the future.
